Sometimes I’m totally floored by an astonishing colour combination, and in fact, I’m on my knees right now as I type, thanks to the delicious Stockholm apartment of interior designer Daniel Hecksher, spotted on SightUnseen. Just look at how that lush melon colour of the dining area beckons through from the cool mint kitchen…
… and then it’s brought down to earth with that deep blue floor. So brilliant and unexpected, right?
You can see the rest of this extraordinarily high concept family home here, but I’ve gone on to do a bit of an online window shopping spree to find a couple of things in these colours that I think would fit right in:
